Antoinette Anne M. Bremer, 80, Glenville

Funeral services for Antoinette (Anne) M. Bremer, of Glenville, will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at the First Lutheran Church of Glenville. The Rev. Mark Wendland and Vicar Korey Finstad will officiate. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Albert Lea.
Mrs. Bremer died Monday, April 5, 2004, at St. John’s Lutheran Home in Albert Lea. She was 80 years of age.
Anne was born Aug. 14, 1923, in Duluth, the daughter of Benedict and Barbara Miller. She attended public school in Duluth. On June 23, 1944, she was united in marriage to Milton Bremer in Des Moines, Iowa. Together they resided in Glenville for over 50 years. Anne was employed for a time at the Standard Truck Stop in Albert Lea as a cook. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Glenville and was active in the Glenville Senior Citizens. Anne enjoyed sewing and quilting and the special trips with the Senior Citizens Group.
Anne is survived by her husband, Milton of Glenville; children: Barbara (Dave) Johnson of Duluth, Peggy (Jerry) Peterson of Glenville, Dick (Mary) Bremer of Austin, Bonnie Bruegger of Mankato, Dave (Kayla) Bremer of Glenville, and Jackie Myran of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Terri Johnson, Jay Prizler, Dawn (Brad) Scholz, Corey Bremer, Amy Bruegger, Trent Bruegger, Nick Bremer, Adam Bremer, Lauren Bremer, Ariel Myran and Keri Myran; and sisters: Margaret Poulin, Shirley Medelbo and Francis Miller.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Ranta; brothers: James and Edward Miller; and two infant grandchildren.
Anne will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends.
