Albert Lea Community Education still has openings for the following sports camps:

€ 8th Annual Southern Minnesota Football Camp (Dave Klatt) – Wed., Thurs., Fri., June 16-18, 12:30-4 p.m., Albert Lea Family Y, $35 ($45 after June 4);

€ Swim Camp (Jon Schmitz) – Mon.-Fri., June 7-July 30, 9:30-11 am, High School Pool, $80;

€ Boys’ Basketball Camp (Matt Addington) – Mon.-Fri., June 14-18, (Grade 3-6, 8:30-11:30 am; Grade 7-10, 1-4 p.m.), high school gym, $40;

€ Volleyball Camp (Gina Eppen) – Mon.-Fri., June 21-25, (Grade 4-6, 9-11:30 am; Grade 7-9, 12:30-3:30 p.m.), high school gym, $50, register by June 16;

€ Girls’ Summer Hoops Basketball Camp (Karol Hansen) – June 7-July 21, (Grade 1-4, 1:2:45 p.m.; Grade 8-10, 10:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; Grade 5-7, 8:30-10:15 a.m.), $90;

€ Cross Country Camp (Jim Haney) – Mon.-Fri., June 21-25, high school wrestling room, $10;

€ Tiger Youth Football (Tiger Varsity Coaching Staff) – Mon.-Fri., July 26-30, 8-11 a.m., Hammer practice fields, $35 ($40 after June 18);

To register for these camps, stop at the Community Education

office from 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Brookside Education Center, 211 W. Richway Dr., Albert Lea. Parents must sign a waiver for any of these camps.
