From Tribune staff reports

Christa Lynn Moffitt, age 14, of Gordonsville, died Friday, June 18, in a single- vehicle accident on County Road 18 (South Broadway Avenue) a mile south of Albert Lea. The accident took place at 4:56 p.m., according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

Moffitt was reportedly a passenger in a car with four other teenagers. When the vehicle rolled over, she and another person were ejected from the car. The accident report stated none of the car’s occupants were seat belted.

Four of the people involved in the accident were treated and released at the Albert Lea Medical Center, the accident report added.

No other information was available at press time.
