Zelda Louden Boyett, 93, Northfield

Zelda Louden Boyett, age 93, formerly of Owatonna, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the Northfield Manor after a short illness.
Born in Glenville, she lived 58 years in Owatonna, where she and her husband, Heber, were greatly involved with square dancing as dancers and leaders in the southern Minnesota area. They were leaders of the Merry Squares and members and leaders of the Do Si Do dance club. Zelda was past Worthy Matron and a member of the Owatonna Order of the Eastern Star for 73 years. She was a long time member of Owatonna Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Heber, after 68 years of marriage.
She is survived by her daughter, Faye Anne Arele (Jim), of Albert Lea; and her son, Jerry Boyett (Mary Lee). She was the loving grandmother of six grandsons: Scott Humbert of California, Jay Humbert of Charlestown, Ind., Christopher Love of California, Tracy Humbert of Louisville, Steve Stubelt of New Jersey and Brad Boyett of Cincinnati; and two granddaughters: Kathy Keating of Connecticut and Becky Boyett Dykes of New Albany, Ind. She also has eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Lane, Louisville, Ky. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Glenville at a later date.
