Clement M. Bud Wilder, 83, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Clement M. &uot;Bud&uot; Wilder, of Albert Lea, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St Casmirs Cemetery, Wells.
Mr. Wilder died Tuesday evening. July 6, 2004, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 83 years of age.
Bud was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Wells, the son of Frederick and Mary (Kipp) Wilder. He attended country school near Wells. On Nov. 26, 1945, he was united in marriage to Mary Kent in Mapleton.
Bud was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and had been active as a religious education teacher. He was employed for over 35 years in the auto body repair business first with Seliger Motors and then Linnes and Weiler Motors.
Bud was active in the union, was a leader for area Boy Scouts of America and was a frequent blood donor.
In his free time he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, cards and playing the harmonica.
Bud is survived by his wife, Mary of Albert Lea; children: Joyce Wilder of Minneapolis, Dr. Lawrence Wilder of Williston, N.D., Charles and his wife Karen Wilder of Albert Lea, Ronald and his wife Beth Wilder of Alden, Kenneth and his wife Sheryl Wilder of Waseca, David and his wife Cari Wilder of St Cloud, Tim and his wife Nancy Wilder of Warrens, Wis., and Kathy and her husband Eric Batt of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Julie Wilder of Williston, N.D.; grandchildren: Dr. Andy (Terri) Wilder, Emily (John) Gorman, Laurie (Mitch) Kok, Benjamin Wilder, Jill Wilder, Justin (Sarah) Wilder, Nathan Wilder, Shane Wilder, Henrik Wilder, Jesse (Sarah) Wilder, Kelly Wilder, Tom Wilder, Dan Wilder, Mathew (Nicole) Wilder, John Wilder, Sarah Wilder, Mary Wilder, Trenton Wilder, Travis Wilder, Mikayla Batt, Marrisa Batt, Jared Batt and Joshua Batt; great-grandchildren: Colin Kok, Noah Wilder and Dylan Wilder; one sister, Mary Ann Hendrickson of Wells; sisters-in-law: Victoria Wilder of Wells, Marion Wilder of Mason City, Iowa,
Lorraine Kent of Onamia, Minn., Jean (Rance) Norton of Hill City, Minn., and Pat (Joe) Purdes of Champlain, Minn.; and brothers-in-law: Charles Kent of Onamia, Minn., Jerry (Ang) Kent of New Richland, Don (Carol) Kent of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Jim (Arlene) Kent of Dalbo, Minn. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: LeRoy, Eugene, Alfred and Ray Wilder; and sisters: Elenora Burns and Viola Erdner.
