Dale G. Perry was born Dec. 21, 1926, to Ernest and C. Jean (Brown) Perry in Northwood.

Dale served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947 in Korea and Hawaii. During his year in Hawaii he polished his bowling skills and learned to play golf, which was his passion in later life. Dale loved to play the Rice Lake course. When his health stopped him from actively playing golf he still enjoyed working in the clubhouse.

Dale was a member of the Eagles and Solos and Singles in Albert Lea and enjoyed those fellowships, especially when playing cards.

Dale is survived by his three daughters: Teresa of Edwardsville, Ill., Vicki of Burnsville, and Sue of Sahuarita, Ariz.; one son, Steve of Mason City, Iowa; and three brothers and three sisters: Ilene Shinn of Northwood, Iowa, Ruth Perry and Loraine Berg of Albert Lea, Earl of Albert Lea, Jerry of St. Paul, and Lawrence of Winona. Dale also leaves five grandchildren: Nicole (Foster) Hudson, Hannah and Naomi Tucker, Philip and Dylan Colby; and one great-grandchild, Abigail Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and on brother, Donald.
