Eliceo Joseph Perez Jr., 69, Albert Lea

The memorial service for Eliceo J. Perez Jr. will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate. Interment will be in St. Theodore’s Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by Albert Lea Veteran’s Organizations. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at the church.
Eliceo died on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 69.
He was born on July 3, 1934, in Owatonna, the son of Eliceo and Josephine (Hernandez) Perez. He attended school in Mason City, Iowa, and Albert Lea.
He served our country in the U.S. Army for three years. He was stationed in Germany.
Eliceo is survived by his daughter, Teresa More and family of Waldorf;
sisters: Isabel and her husband Albert Villarreal of Albert Lea, Rita and her husband Stanley Johnson of Albert Lea, and Virginia Egeness of Denver, Colo.; brothers: Paul Hernandez and wife Lola of Kansas City, Mo., John Perez of Yakima, Wash., Raymond Perez and his wife Connie of Austin, Texas, Phillip Perez and his wife Judy of Coon Rapids, Minn., William (Bill) Perez and his wife Suzanne of Raymond, Minn., and Ruben Perez and his wife Sandy of Albert Lea; an aunt, Jenny Mata of Chicago, Ill.; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Eliceo was preceded in death by his parents; Eliceo and Josephine Perez; daughter, Jody Perez; sister, Lupe Ramos; and brothers: Richard and Jesse Perez.
