Ronald C. Kopischke, age 66, of Richfield, died July 2, 2004, at N.C. Little Hospice, Edina.
He was born April 27, 1938, in Waseca. He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1956 and then enlisted in the Air Force for four years. He retired from IDS/American Express after 39 1/2 years.
He married Mary Jane Davis of Delavan on Oct. 14,1961. He enjoyed fishing, spending time on the family farm, and spending time with his children and grandsons.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons: Randal, Neil and his wife Heidi; daughter, Kari; three grandsons: Taylor, Travis and Tanner; brother, Robert and his wife Bobble; sister, Roxanne Rajewsky; two nephews; a niece, as well as aunts, an uncle and cousins.
He is preceded In death by his parents:Rinehold and Lols Kopischke; parents-in-law: Ed and Mildre Davis; and a brother-in-law, Harold Rajewsky.
After a long illness, his body became weak, but his strong spirit never left him.
The service is 1 p.m. Wednesday July 7, at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave. S., Richfield, Minn. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S. Richfield, and one hour prior to the service at church.
