Connie L. Freemyer, 55, Cottage Grove

The funeral service for Connie L. Freemyer of Cottage Grove will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. The Rev. Don Rose will officiate. The burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service.
Connie died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at her home. She was 55 years old.
Connie was born March 25, 1949, at Dodgeville, Wis. to Charlie (Jack) and Jeanette (Cullen) Raisbeck. She graduated from Beloit High School and Oshkosh College. Connie was born and raised in the Beloit area. She married Wayne Freemyer in 1971 at Roscoe, Ill. They resided in Albert Lea and since 1990 they lived at Cottage Grove. Connie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albert Lea. She worked for the State of Minnesota in the Child Support Division. Connie enjoyed doing arts and crafts.
Connie is survived by her husband, Wayne Freemyer of Cottage Grove; two children, Scott Freemyer and his wife Michelle of Cottage Grove, and Michelle Freemyer of Wayzata; two grandchildren, Erin and Trevor; mother, Jeanette Raisbeck of Beloit, Wis.; one brother and four sisters, Larry Raisbeck of Albert Lea,
Carol Raisbeck of Beloit, Wis., Christine Olson of Beloit, Wis., Marge Leavitt of Roscoe, Ill. and Cindy Groff of Conger; mother-in-law, Mary Freemyer of Albert Lea;
sister-in-law, Irene Bowman of Albert Lea; brother-in-law Doyle Freemyer of Cottage Grove; and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, Charlie (Jack) Raisbeck, and father-in-law, Leo Freemyer.
