Vikings crush Clarksville

NORTHWOOD, Iowa &045; It took the Northwood-Kensett Vikings less than a minute to light up the scoreboard.
They didn’t let up until halftime.
The Vikings powered their way to a 50-0 advantage at the intermission and went on to blank visiting Clarksville 58-0 in an Iowa high school football game at Northwood Friday night.
It was the sixth win without a loss for coach Dave Capitani’s Vikings, who outgained Clarksville 394-94 overall and 292-6 rushing.
Eric Parker, Ben Schipull and Tom Fierova scored two touchdowns apiece for the Vikings. Kelvin Hendriksen and Mike Bloomingdale led the defense with 11 and 10 tackles, respectively.
The Vikings travel to West Hancock this Friday.
