Michael Henry Rhyner, age 51, of Rochester, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at his home in Rochester.
He was born Feb. 25, 1953, in La Crosse, Wis. He married
Laura Youngberg on Aug. 11, 1979, in Rochester.
Survivors include his wife, Laura of Rochester; two daughters: Lindsay Rhyner of Rochester, and Tara Rhyner of Rochester; and two sisters: Jan (Doug) Fields of Blaine, Minn. and
Joan Rhyner of Phoenix, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister
Michael attended Mankato State University from 1974 to 1979.
He moved to Rochester in 1979 where he was employed by Mayo Clinic. He was an avid gardener, loved music and enjoyed reading. Michael could build and fix anything. He was an electronic engineering technologist. Laura is a preschool teacher. Michael served in the
U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1973.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at
Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester. The Rev. Joyce Young will officiate. Friends may call
Monday, Nov. 29, from 3 to the time of the service at 4 p.m. at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes.
