The memorial service for Barney R. Nesset of Glenville will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the First Lutheran Church in Glenville. The Rev. Mark Wendland and Vicar Christopher Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood

Cemetery in Glenville.

Friends may visit with family from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church.

Barney died at his home on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004.

He was 33 years old.

He was born on

Nov. 18, 1971, the son of Orville and Irene (Diesman) Nesset in Albert Lea.

He attended grade school in Kiester , and then graduated from Glenville High School in 1991.

He attended Riverland Community College in Owatonna. He had been working at Viracon in Owatonna.

Barney was a member of the Eagles and the Freeborn County Historical Society.

Some of his hobbies included raising rabbits, listening to music from the ’50s and ’60s,

watching old movies and karoke.

He is survived by his mother Irene Nesset of Glenville; sisters: Ann (Tim) Brown of Backus,

Nancy (Donald) Poore of Albert Lea, Sally (Willis) Soesbe of Clarion, Iowa, and Charlotte (Scott) Hennigar of Clarion, Iowa: brothers: John Nesset of Glenville,

Sky Nesset of Glenville, and Robert Nesset and his fiancee Dawn Nelson of Glenville; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father Orville Nesset; and sister-in-law Julie Nesset.
