Orden A. Jenson, 82, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Orden A. Jenson, of Albert Lea, will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the First Lutheran Chapel in Albert Lea. The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by Albert Lea Veteran’s Organizations. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church.
Orden died on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.
He was 82.
He was born on July 12, 1922, in Hayfield, Minn., the son of Iner and Dena ( Bakken) Jensen. They lived in the LeRoy and Wells area and he attended rural country school.
He married Mabel Ingvaldson on
March 8, 1947, and they lived their married life in the Albert Lea area.
Orden was a veteran and a member of the VFW.
He enjoyed fishing, watching the Minnesota Twins, and spending time with the grandchildren.
He is survived by two children: Ronnie Jenson and his wife Carolyn of Emmons, and Lonnie and her husband Armondo Bennett of St. Paul; grandchildren: Kellie and her husband Dean Anderson
and their daughter, Samantha, of Hayward, Breck Jenson and children, Mackinzie and Alec, of Walters, and Holly Bair and her children,
Derek, Dakota,
Lance and Cherish, of Albert Lea; brother, Ingvild Jensen and his wife Irene of Mankato; sisters:
Stella Kopsing of Albert Lea, and Doris Herth of Albert Lea; and brother-in-law, Roland Trogstad of Albert Lea.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Jenson; brother, Edward Jenson; and sister, Gladys Hallum.
