The funeral service for Christina Espinosa Garcia of Albert Lea will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and one hour before the service at the church.
Christina died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester surrounded by her family. She was 50 years old.
Christina was born Jan. 6, 1955, at Winnebago, Minn., to Armando and Cruz (Vasquez) Espinosa. Christina attended Elmore Public School and graduated from Riverland Community College in the computer software program.
She married Frank Aguilera and was currently married to Gabriel Garcia. Christina lived in Blue Earth, St. Paul and Albert Lea.
She attended St. Theodore Catholic Church. She worked at Farmland Foods and did in-home daycare. Christina enjoyed doing crafts, plastic canvas and dream catchers. She also enjoyed fishing and watching her birds.

Espinosa; Frank Aguilera, father of her three children, Nora and her husband, Shawn Kaehn, and their children, Mariah Bryand, Maranda, Marrissa and Mateo Baseman;
Lennie Aguilera and his wife, Crystal, and their children, Chad Beer, Christian and Charlize Aguilera; Connie Yost and her husband, Phil, and their children, Sabia Severtson, Anthony, Nikki, Justis Yost and Megan Williamson; her husband, Gabriel Garcia; siblings,
Anita and Jose, J.R. and Deb, Mary, John and Sandy, James and Fredia, Jane and Rick, Joseph and Greg, Frances and John, Frank, Mike and Kayla; 37 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; special children who called her mom, Jamie and Lupe; many friends and co-workers from Farmland Foods.
She was preceded in death by a grandbaby, Bubbles; two brothers, John and Manuel Espinosa; grandparents, Trinidad and Doroteo Vasquez; grandparents, Victoria and Margarito Espinosa; aunts; uncles; cousins and best friends, Mary Lou Abrego &045; Big Bob and Randy Linquist and Steve Shuck.
