The Albert Lea Elks Lodge local Hoops Shoot free-throw contest is set for Saturday, Jan. 15 at Southwest Middle School. Registration begins at 1:30 and competition starts at 2.

Age divisions for boys and girls are 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. Each contestant will shoot 25 free throws. Awards will be presented and all participants will be recognized. There is no entry fee.
