Inez J.Johnson, age 88, of Presbyterian Homes of Lake Minnetonka. died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at Presbyterian Homes.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Elim Lutheran Church, 40th and W. Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation is at the church one hour before the service.

Interment is at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapois. Arrangements are with Gearty Delmore Funeral Chapel, Robbinsdale.

Inez Ottesen was born June 5, 1916, in Gordonsville, to Miles and Cora Reynolds Ottesen. She attended school in Albert Lea. She married Owen C. Johnson of Glenville in May 1936. They moved to Minneapolis, where Inez was a hairstylist for many years at Jackie Anne’s Hair Salon. Owen preceded her in death in 1973. Inez has been a long-time member of Elim Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale.

She is survived by sons: Richard (Mavis) Johnson of Maple Grove, and James (Dawn) Johnson of Dayton, Minn.

She was preceded in death by husband, Owen; sisters: Crystal Erickson and Ora Horgan; and brother, Howard Ottesen.

Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
