Mary Ludlow Mimi Crandall, 68, North Attleboro, Massachusatts

Mary Ludlow &uot;Mimi&uot; Crandall, age 68, of Poppasquash Rd., North Attleboro, Mass., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at home, following an illness.
She was the wife for 45 years of Rev. John D. Crandall, whom she married on Dec. 19, 1959.
Born in New York City on Aug. 24, 1936, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Mary (Gallitan) Ludlow.
A graduate of the Mt. Vernon Junior College in Washington, DC, she had also graduated from the Wheelock College in Boston.
A former elementary school teacher, she had in recent years enjoyed being a clerk and getting to know customers at the Old Country Store in West Mansfield. Previously, her teaching had involved stints in Norfolk Va., Alexandria, Va., and at a pre-school in Albert Lea.
She was a resident of Albert Lea from 1979 to 1984 where her husband was rector of Christ Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Crandall was an artist, and she love to work in oils. Her favorite subjects were landscapes and her grandchildren. She also was an avid gardener and loved the sight of the cardinal’s annual return to her yard.
An Episcopalian, she and her husband had enjoyed worshiping in the fellowship of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Wrentham, Mass..
Formerly of Attleboro, she had made North Attleboro her home for the past three years.
In addition to her husband, John; she leaves two sons: John C. Crandall of Sapphire, N.C., and William R. Crandall of Duluth; one daughter, Meg MacDonald of North Attleboro; one brother, George “Craig” Ludlow of Elizabethtown, N.Y.; one sister, Ann Jackson of North Conway, N.H.; and nine grandchildren.
She was sister of the late Tom Ludlow.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at a memorial service on Saturday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Episcopal Church, East Street facing lower common, Wrentham Centre. Mass.
