Funeral services for Orville M. Stenseth, age 86, of rural Glenville, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Round Prairie Lutheran Church. The Rev. Tammy Dahlvang will officiate. Interment will be in the Round Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Ole died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, Iowa.

Orville M. Stenseth was born Sept. 14, 1918, to Emil and Olga (Amundson) Stenseth in Freeman Township. He farmed all his life and was a member of Round Prairie Lutheran Church. Ole enjoyed hunting, horses, collecting guns and Cadillacs. He was well known for his great sense of humor.

Survivors include his brothers and sister: Duane and his wife Virginia Stenseth of Albert Lea, Phillip Stenseth of Forest City, Iowa, and Margaret &uot;Mike&uot; and her husband Harris Johnson of Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.

Ole was preceded in death by his brothers: Ervin, George, and James; and his sister, Stella.
