The Fountain Lake Sportsmen club held its January meeting at the Union Center with 14 members present.

A pancake breakfast and silent auction fundraiser was discussed along with the Take-A-Kid Fishing program for the summer.

Elections were held with the following results: Mark Hovland, president; Gary Anderon, vice president; Dave Bartness, treasurer; and Patty Oberg, secretary. Board members for the upcoming year include Howard Johnson, Orion Loe, Bill Whelan, Richard Lowman, Larry Lowman, Steve Loveman, Bill Ellis and Harlan Thompson.

Guest speaker for the Feb. 1 meeting is Dean Flater, general manager of Crystal-Pierz. The topic of discussion will be spring clean-up.
