Fauneil Marguerite Clark, 90, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Fauneil M. Clark, age 90, of Albert Lea, will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Interment will be in the Harlan Cemetery, Harlan, Iowa, on Friday. Visitation is one hour prior to the services at the Church. Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Fauneil died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Thorne Crest Retirement Center.

Fauneil Marguerite Clark was born Jan. 7, 1915, to Chris and Gertrude (Sorensen) Christensen in Wayne, Neb. On Aug. 17, 1935, she was united in marriage to Myron H. Clark. Fauneil had been employed as a secretary for a U. S. Government agency in Minneapolis and was also an Avon representative. The couple moved from Minneapolis to Albert Lea in 1964. Fauneil attended Calvary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the Midwest, West, and South visiting relatives and friends.

Survivors include her son, Harold M. Clark of Noxapater, Miss.; and grandsons, James A. Clark of Puyallup, Wah., and Benjamin A. Clark of Falls Church, Va.

Fauneil was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Myron, on Aug. 29, 2000; brothers: Dwight and Lowell; and sister, Geraldine.
