Frances J. Rayman, 92, Austin

Frances J. Rayman, age 92, of Austin, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Sacred Heart Care Center.

Frances was born June 9, 1912 north of Myrtle, to Joe and Josie (Saman) Plevka.

She lived there on a farm until moving to Austin in 1955.

In November 1930, she was united in marriage to Emil V. Rayman in Albert Lea.

He preceded her in death in 1997. Their daughter Carmen was born in 1933.

Frances was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening, fishing, crocheting, cooking, and traveling to Texas every winter and enjoying the lake home in Faribault in the summer. She was a member of Z.C.B.J. Lodge and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter: Carmen Johnson, Austin; special friends: Joel and Marcia Jensen, Arlene Hajek, and Arcley Wahlers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil and a son-in-law: Odean Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Crane Community Chapel with Pastor Chris Swarthout officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at Mayer Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Myrtle.

The casket bearers will be Vincient Hajek, Doug Belshan, Jon Belshan, Wayne Wahlers, Dick Brekke, and Dan Clayton.
