Gloria Margaret Bock, 95, Albert Lea

The Funeral Service for Gloria Margaret Bock, age 95, of Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea, will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the First Lutheran Church in Glenville. The Rev. Wendland and Vicar Christopher Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before the service at the church.
Gloria died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Center.
She was born on June 17, 1909, in Mansfield Township, the daughter of Emil and Helen (LaValley) Johnson. The oldest of four children she attended schools in Alden and St. Paul. On Nov. 12, 1927, she married Arthur W. Bock in Albert Lea.
She worked as a waitress at the Hotel Albert and the Canton Cafe. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Albert Lea. She loved to sing, played piano,
dancing, had a great sense of humor, loved rides in the car and going to Don’ls in the Skyline Mall.
She is survived by four sons: Raymond Bock of Albert Lea, Luverne Bock
and Robert Bock, both of Glenville, and Donald Bock of Joplin, Mo.; 12 grandchildren: Layne Hagen, Lance Hagen, Lyndon Hagen, Loren Hagen, Luverne Bock Jr. Kelly Bock, Teresa McBride, Donald Bock Jr. Robert Bock Jr., Michael Bock, and Sheila Garbers; great-grandchildren: sister, Lillian Edwards of Sunland Calif.; sisters-in-law : Geraldine Bock of Lisbon, N.D., and Minnie Hanson of Albert Lea; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bock; her daughter, Lorraine Hagen; brothers: Raymond Johnson, and George Johnson; and grandchild, Terry Bock.
