The memorial service for John “Jack&uot; Milton Ebeling will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Bonnerup Funeral Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Following the service lunch will be served at Green Lea Golf Course.
John died
Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Thorne Crest Retirement Center, Health Care Wing, Albert Lea. He was 82 years old.
John was born in Owatonna on Dec. 21, 1922, the son of John W. and Clara (Sodabier) Ebeling. He was a graduate of Owatonna High School.
During his life John had lived in Owatonna, Albert Lea, Escondido, Calf., and Avon Park., Fla. While in Albert Lea he owned and operated Country Kitchen Restaurant from 1965-75. His passion was golfing and he had been a member of the Albert Lea Country Club.
John is survived by two children: Zandy (Bob) Lehmann of Shakopee, Minn., and John Jay Ebeling of New Richmond, Wis.; one grandson, Christopher Lehmann of Shakopee; two step daughters: Lora (Randy) Low of Albert Lea, and Dawn Hillman of
Albert Lea; one step granddaughter, Danielle Hillman of Rochester; one step great-grandson, Daniel Hillman of Albert Lea; one brother, Marvin &uot;Bud” (Dee) Ebeling of Pratt, Minn.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Crystal; and one brother, Lyle.
