After graduating the entire 2003-04 varsity volleyball team, the 2004-05 Albert Lea Tigers went through many struggles and changes to determine positions for this past season’s squad.

Earning letters for the Tigers were seniors Stacy Schlobohm, Stacie Thisius and Elise Austad; juniors Ellie Holmen, Brooke Woitas, Kristine Yost, Heather Hovland and Alli Arnold; sophomores:

Kat Ladwig and Jordan Laurie; and freshman Annika Smed.

Earning Minnesota State High School League Spotlight on Scholarship Silver Awards for a grade point average of 3.0 to 3.599 were Melissa Owens, Stacie Thisius, Laura Graber, Alli Arnold, Ellie Holmen, Tatum Roberts, Jenna Stene, Katie Sorenson, Carla VanVorren, Jessica Kalis, Heather Hovland, Amanda Nelson, Ali Demmer, Hannah Gudal, Jess Williamson, Jen Neumann, Jordan Laurie, Kelsie Kuchera, Annika. Smed and Abby Leach.

Gold Awards for a GPA of 3.6-4.0 went to: Jessica Sosebee, Ahna Plantage, Becky Bagley, Jade Larson, Leah Gilbertson, Kristine Yost, Rebekah Koller, Mariah Howe, Kat Ladwig, Chandra Hundley, Priscilla Berg, Abby Mattson, Missy Webb, Meaghan Christian, Brooke Woitas, Jenna Godeke, Holly Vogelsang, Melissa Sather, Janna Long and Kristy Veldman.
