Carol Helling, 88, Menasha, Wis.

Carol M. Helling, age 88, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, at Oakridge Gardens Care Center, Town of Menasha, Wis.
She was born June 24, 1916, in Pipestone, Minn., the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorthea (Timm) Hess. Carol married Leonard Helling on Nov. 11, 1939. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1984. Carol was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies, which were delicious.
Survivors include two daughters: Patricia Helling, of Appleton, Wis., and Jean Rippentrop of Shakopee, Minn.; a son, Dennis (Erliss) Helling of Neenah, Wis.; five grandchildren: Wendy, Chad (Jill), Greg (Tina), Jason (Tracy), and Julie (Jake); there are five great-grandchildren: Joshua, Cassandra, Samantha, Rhen and Britney; and two nieces and a nephew: Judy (Larry) Dahl, Sharon (Robert) Rushton, and Robert (Mary) Hess.
Carol was preceded in death by two sisters: Mildred Sargisson, and Madeline Defillipo; and two brothers: Harry Hess, and Carlton Hess, her twin.
Graveside services for Carol will be held at a later date at the Graceland established.
