John Roessler, 66, Wells

John “Jack” Roessler, age 66, of Wells, died on Sunday, March 27, 2005, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 1, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells with the Rev. Paul Baker officiating. Visitation will be held at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells on Thursday, March 31, from 4 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services at church on Friday. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells.
John Roessler was born Feb. 16, 1939, the son of Emil and Viola (Jensen) Roessler in Minnesota Lake. He. was united in marriage to Donna Olson on Aug. 4, 1957, in Minnesota Lake. Jack drove truck for Dulas Excavating for the last 20 years and prior to that he drove for Bluhm Elevator, Dean Zabel and A Home of Your Own. He enjoyed his grandchildren, John Deere tractors, shooting pool, playing and listening to music.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, one brother in infancy, five brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of Wells; four daughters: Cindy Dylla and her husband Dennis of Minnesota Lake, and Carla Richards and her husband James, Shari Winch and her husband Richard “Dick”, and Sheryl Roessler, all of Wells; six sons: Donald of Minnesota Lake, James of Wells, Mark and his wife Marion of Minnesota Lake, Alvin “Effy”, Jeff and his wife Sharon, and Terry “Herman” and his wife Bonnie, all of Wells; 13 grandchildren: Shelly Doering and her husband Justin, Chris and Taylor Wersal, Brandon and Amber Roessler, Starla Schultze, Chase and Rebecca Roessler, Tyler, Tanin and Joey Richards, and Leah Winch; two sisters: Geneva Brugger of Minnesota Lake, and Alice Schultz and her husband Marvin of Wells; two brothers: Curt and his wife Andrea of Wells, and Morris and his wife Judy of Freeborn; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
