Richard Everett, 74, of Albert Lea

Funeral services for Richard A. Everett of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Father Robert Schneider will officiate.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a scripture prayer service Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in the spring at St. Theodore Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by the Albert Lea Area Veterans Group.

at his home in Albert Lea; he was 74 years of age.

Richard was born June 15, 1930, in Spencer, Iowa the son of

William and Edna (Mick) Everett. He graduated from Waterloo West High School and North Iowa Teachers College in Mason City, Iowa.

On April 21, 1960, he married Janice Staudt in Waterloo, Iowa.

Richard served his country in the US Marines and was stationed in San Diego, Calif.

He made his home in Waterloo, Iowa, Omaha, Neb., Davenport, Iowa, Kansas City, Kan., and moved to Albert Lea in 1975, where he has lived ever since. He was employed for many years with the Sun Oil Co, and retired from Cafourek and Associates in Albert Lea.

Richard was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially the grandchildren. He also enjoyed working in the garden and taking care of his lawn.

Richard is survived by his children; William and his wife Tamara Everett

and their children Will, Ben, Sam and Zech, of Annandale, Minn.; Richard and his wife Eleanor Everett and their children Ricky and Elizabeth of Garden City, Kan., and Mary Everett of Minneapolis, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Janice in 2003.
