Kenneth Earl Knutson, age 60, of Wells, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at his home.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m.Thursday, April 7, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells with the Rev. Meg Sander officiating. Visitation will be held at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells tosay, Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services at church on Thursday. Interment will be in Rice Lake Cemetery in rural Wells.

Kenneth Knutson was born April 24,1944, in Leland, Iowa, the son of Edward and Hilka (Winters) Knutson. He was united in marriage to Patsy 1. Werner on June 2, 1962, in Sioux Falls, S.D. He was employed by SwiftEckrich for 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Pat of Wells; five daughters: Sandra and her husband Robert DiCario of Vista, Calif., Kathy Knutson of Choctaw, Okla., Bonnie Knutson of Wells, Mary Foley of Wells, and Lori and her husband Robert Placek of Wells; one son: Larry Knutson of Kiester; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold and wife Janet Knutson of Eagle Lake, Minn.; two sisters: Edith and husband Gene Harpestad of Wells, and Betty and husband Robert Werner of Wells; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Alice Doerr.
