Graveside services for Marie Ida Dahlstrom, of LeSueur, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood Iowa. The Rev. Richard Spande will officiate.

Marie died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the Gardenview Nursing Home in LeSueur. She was 87 years of age.

Marie was born August 8, 1917 in Clayton County, Iowa, the daughter of Glen and Elsie Wellman. She graduated high school in Iowa. On Oct. 31, 1941, she was united in marriage to Charles Dahlstrom in Clayton County, Iowa.

Marie was a homemaker and lived in Albert Lea for many years. The past 10 years were spent in the Gardenview Nursing Home in LeSueur.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Elsie Hortan of Virginia; and son, Jason Dahlstrom of Denver, Colo. There are three grandchildren and five great grandchildren surviving. Also surviving is one brother, Jason Wellman of Indianapolis, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles, in 1963; and one brother, Leonard.
