Ronald Srock, 42, Hollandale

Ronald Neil Srock, age 42, of Hollandale, died at his home.
Ron was born Dec. 6, 1962, in Austin, to Edwin and LaVonne (Hegge) Srock. On Jan. 18, 1985 he married Carmen Goetz at Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
He worked for Ulland Brothers Construction for 17 years, Valley Paving for three years, and Ames Construction for the past two years. He was a 20-year member of the Local 49ers Union, loved to fish, hunt, collect rocks, play cribbage and Texas Hold Em.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Srock of Hollandale; children: Amanda Srock of Mankato, Emily Srock of Winona, Valerie Srock of
Hollandale, and Charles Srock of Hollandale; mother,
LaVonne Srock of Camas, Wash.; siblings: Larry Srock of
Kilkenny, Mike (Tammy) Srock of Blooming Prairie, Cindy Walters of Camas, Wash., and Dan Srock of
Brownsdale; and nieces; nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Edwin Srock, and all of his grandparents.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday,
at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, and one hour before the service at the church.
