Nicole O’Byrne, 25, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Nicole Lynn O’Byrne, age 25, of Albert Lea, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the First Lutheran Church in Glenville. The Rev. Mark Wendland will officiate. Visitation is one hour prior to the services at the church.

Nicole died from an epileptic seizure at her home on Saturday, April 23, 2005.

Nicole Lynn O’Byrne was born Nov. 9, 1979, to Lee and Terri (Thomsen) Holst in Albert Lea. On Feb. 13, 1999, she was united in marriage to Mark O’Byrne in Glenville. Nicole received her GED and had attended Riverland Community College for two years. She had just begun working at Caf Don’l. Nicole enjoyed music and being with her friends. She especially loved the time spent with their son, Isaiah, and her grandmothers.

Survivors include her husband, Mark; her son, Isaiah; her parents: Lee and Terri Holst; her friend, Paul Erntson; brothers: Nathan and Quentin; father-in-law, Tom O’Byrne; grandmother, Virgie Holst; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her many, many friends.

Nicole was preceded in death by her grandparents: Karlyle and LaVonne Thomsen; mother-in-law, Janet O’Byrne; and her great-grandparents.
