RaeAnn treasured music, going to school, taking rides in her wheelchair at the mall, playing with her toys and being with people. She loved ice cream and M&Ms.;

Although her body was weak, her spirit was strong. She fought the mortal fight. She spoke few words.

However, anyone who knew RaeAnn came to realize that it does not require a multitude of words or physical strength to emanate powerful, unmistakable love.

RaeAnn could not see, but she sensed the world around her with her hand, ears and her spirit.

RaeAnn is survived her parents, Laurie and Roger Baer; three sisters, Danette Schellhous (Ryan) of Naperville, Ill., Diana Phillips (Marc) of Northbridge, Calif., and Allison Baer now serving as a LDS Church mission in Lima, Peru; and a brother, Cameron, of Colorado Springs.

A funeral service was held Monday, May 2, in Colorado Springs.

Memorials can be made to Make A Wish Foundation, 90 S. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO, 80903.
