Randall Parrish, 88, of Albert Lea

The funeral service for Randall Warren Parrish, of Albert Lea, will be 11 a.m.
Wednesday May 25, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Wayne Halvorson will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church.
Randall died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. He was 88 years old.
Randall was born Feb. 5, 1917, at Waseca, to Eugene and Katherine (O’Neil) Parrish.
He attended rural country school and went for one year to Agriculture School at St. Paul. Randall married Frieda Schwartz on May 28, 1944, at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Dexter, Minn. He has lived at Waseca, Owatonna, and since the fall of 1952 in Albert Lea. Randall was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church
and a former church trustee and usher. Randall farmed for several years and
worked for Wilson and Company for 30 years. He enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, fishing and gardening.
Randall is survived by his wife, Frieda Parrish of Albert Lea; two children:
son, Gary Parrish and his wife Carolyn of Butterfield, Minn., and daughter, Janice Kasperek and her husband John of Eagan, Minn,;
grandson, Daniel Kasperek of Eagan; sister, Ferne Thursdale of
Waseca; brothers: Lyle Parrish and his wife Delores of Owatonna, and Eugene Parrish and his wife Mavis of Albert Lea,;
brother-in-laws: Ray Schwartz of St. Paul, Norman Schwartz and his wife Muriel of Austin, and Elmer Schwartz and his wife Leona of Austin; sister-in-laws: Marion Kessell of Russell, Iowa, and Donna Schwartz of Dexter; and
many nieces, nephews and friends.
Randall is preceded in death by his parents: Eugene and Katherine Parrish; son,
Jerral Parrish; and two daughter-in-laws:Lois Parrish and Linda Parrish.
Randall will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
