Prayer services for Steven C. Johnson, 55, of Orlando, Fla., will be at 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells. The Rev. Paul Baker will officiate. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells.
He died on Tuesday, May 24, at Orlando Regional Sand Lake Hospital in Orlando from complications of diabetes.
Steven was born on Sept. 24, 1949, in Albert Lea, the son of Clarence and Gladys (Martin) Johnson.
He owned and operated a furniture restoration business in Minneapolis for about 20 years, moved to Tennessee for five years and has lived in Florida the past four years.
He enjoyed collecting crafts, interior decorating, flowers and gardening.
Survivors include one daughter, Maggie May Johnson; four brothers, Keith (Pat) of Princeton, Neil and special friend, Teri Tatham, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Sid (Marlys) of Wells and Terry (Sharon) of New Ulm; one sister, Sue (Lester) Barbknecht of Waseca; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two nephews, Tony and Ty Johnson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells.
