Waseca jumped out with three runs in the third which proved to be enough as Albert Lea managed just a two spot in the sixth.
Arik Matson led off the sixth with a single and Ryan Truesdell followed up with a double to put two runners on base. After a walk and and an out Brandon Klukow delivered a two RBI single to plate the only runs.
Matson was the only Albert Lea player to have a multi hit game going 2-for-3 on the night.
