The Albert Lea Elks Lodge 813 will be well represented at the State Soccer Shoot in Faribault this year.

Saturday, four Albert Lea youth won the honor of advancing to state by winning their respective divisions at the Elks District Shootout in Owatonna.

Placing first and advancing to state were Mariah Maras (14 and under), Katie Williamson (12 and under), Lindsey Horejs (7 and under) and Cameron Hove (14 and under).

Earning second place trophies were Sarah Niebuhr (10 and under), Logan Tovar (10 and under) and Samuel Adams (7 and under).

Of the eight age/gender divisions contested, Albert Lea youth won four and placed second in three.

This is the eighth year that the Elks have sponsored the Soccer Shoot Program.
