Kellen Kaasa once again attended the Matt Blair Classic at Jordan, MN. recently.
The classic raises money for Minnesota Special Olympics.
There were many companies represented at the tournament including Northwest Airlines, Bell Mortgage, McNeilus Steel, US Bank Corp. Trust and Honeywell to name a few.
Kassa was stationed on hole No. 11 and if a team paid $10. Kellen would putt its ball in.
Whether he made it or not the team would receive a birdie on that hole.
It also had the chance to buy more raffle tickets for the end of the day drawings from him.
At the banquet at the end of the day, Kassa, Katie Timmer, and Kathy Karkula, from the Minnesota Special Olympics office, presented Matt Blair with a jacket in appreciation for all his efforts in support of Special Olympics.
Kassa and Timmer also presented a joint speech thanking everyone for their support of Special Olympics.
Kassa received the award for raising the most money at his hole that day.
He lives with his family in Glenville and is employed at Hy-Vee in Albert Lea.
He will be participating in the state golf tournament on Aug. 21.
He will compete in the unified partner event with his brother Devin as his partner.
