The Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club Inc. meeting for August was held Aug. 2 at the Union Center.

Plans were made for the first annual club picnic.

Club members and their families are invited

to the Pioneer Park Sept. 10 at 4 p.m.

The club had another meeting Aug. 12.

The raffle tickets and Fish Fry tickets are now available from members, or at the door the night of the fish fry, on Oct. 1.

Raffle tickets are $1 each and fish fry tickets are $7 each and 12-and-under are $4 each.

Food will be served from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All the prizes for the raffle are donated by Wells Fargo Bank.

First place &045;&160;Remington 870 Express Combo.

Second place &045; Ray Marine Fish Finder.

Third place &045; Minn-Kota trolling motor.

Fourth place &045;&160;Tackle box and tackle.

Need not be present to win.

On Aug. 16 the club had an outing with some kids from Arc.

We had a great time, and many fish were caught and even one turtle.

The club has another outing Aug. 27 with some seniors from Thorn Crest.

The next meeting is Sept. 6 at the Union Center at 6 p.m.

Anyone joining the club in October, November or December will have membership through December of 2006.
