Albert Lea Women’s Aglow will welcome special guest Theresa Turnbull at its next meeting Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Albert Lea Senior Center in Skyline Mall. Fellowship and refreshments begin at 6:45 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7.
Turnbull is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and an experienced missionary, living in the Czech Republic and then Malaysia, and also participating in a number of short-term missions trips.
Currently residing in Austin, Turnbull works as a full-time chaplain for two nursing homes and ministers in local churches upon request. A seasoned minister of the Gospel, Turnbull’s message of finding your hope and joy in the Lord always brings encouragement and healing to those who hear her.
Turnbull’s message for the meeting is “Enjoy the Journey.” She takes her text from Romans 8:28 – 39. “I am so thankful that we don’t have to walk out our life on this earth alone. We have our Heavenly Father watching over us, Jesus interceding for us, the Holy Spirit living in us, God’s angels protecting us, and family and friends who love us. We have God’s road map for life &045; his precious word &045; the Bible. Our journey can be so rich and meaningful when we realize how much God has done and is doing in our world, our churches, our lives,” Turnbull said.
All women and men are welcome. For information, call Becky at 373-1905, Pam at 373-9229 or Jean 373-4224.
