ROCHESTER &045;&160;Rochester Century had just enough to stay ahead of Albert Lea in the pool and the team standings winning the dual with the Tigers, 94-80.

Leah Matheson had the lone victory for Albert Lea with a two second win in the 100 breaststroke.

She came to the wall in 1:15.38 while teammate Grace Thomas was third in 1:20.30.

The Tigers were denied another win in the first event of the night when the relay team of Amanda Walters, Matheson, Samantha Cole and Whitney Walters was edged by three hundredths of a second in the 200 medley relay.

Amanda Walters was involved in another close race with her 50 freestyle effort that placed her second overall by just over a half second in 27.83.

Cole would finish second in the 100 butterfly and Whitney Walters was second to the wall in the 100 free for the Tigers.

Mallory Carstens won the 200 freestyle junior varsity race in 2:21.91, Amy Horesji was victorious in the 50 free and Andrea Lares came out on top in the 100 butterfly.

Aliana Schulz (100 free), Emily Gaudian (100 breaststroke), the 200 free relay team, and the 400 free relay squad were also winners for the JV as the Tigers won the team competition 86-60.

The Tigers are back in action tonight when they host Waseca.
