Elizabeth Jones, 90, formerly of Glenville

Elizabeth W. Jones, age 90, formerly of Glenville, Minn., passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 1, 2005, at Harmony House in Sheboygan, Wis.

Born July 11, 1915, in Waukesha, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Jessie (England) Ward.

She earned Bachelors and Masters of Arts degrees in Secondary Education. For more than 20 years, Elizabeth taught high school in the public school system in Glenville. She maintained her membership in the Minnesota Retired Teaches Assoc.

She moved to Sheboygan in the late 1980s. Besides her love for teaching, she greatly enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Richard L. (Diane) Jones of Sheboygan, and Frederick J. (Gayle) Jones of Waukesha; a sister, Margaret Worthington of Doylestown, Penn.; four grandchildren, Kevin (Carrie), Kent (Sonja), Ryan, and Heather Jones; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Lucas Jones; and a brother-in-law, Walter Heywood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Jones; a brother, George Ward; and a sister Virginia Heywood.

Private services are being arranged by Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, Sheboygan, Wis.
