FARIBAULT &045; The NRHEG volleyball team got off to a good start against Bethlehem Academy, but it could not sustain it against the third-ranked team in Class A.
The Panthers grabbed the early lead in game one, but fell behind 15-12 before the Cardinals won 10 of the final 13 points to take the game, 25-15.
The Panthers would serve well all night, but get little to show for it falling in the next two games 12-25, 13-25 as NRHEG earned nine points the entire evening on their serve.
The Cardinals, by contract, got 41 points from their service game.
Alison Anderson and Brandis Hagen each had five kills, Gina Quiram had seven digs and Megan Groskrentz had 11 assists.
