ALBERT LEA &045; Young pro football fans will have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills when the Albert Lea Jaycees host an NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick competition Sunday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. at Hammer Field practice field.

The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 8 to 15.

The NFL PPK competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting passing and placekicking with scores based

on distance and accuracy.

Age classification is as of December 31, 2005.

The top finishers from each of eight groups at the local competition will advance to the sectional competition.

The winners at the sectional competition will have their scores compared with other sectional champions.

The top five scorers from the pool will advance to the Minnesota Vikings Team Championship held in November.

Registration forms will be available at Tiger City Sports as well as at the competition.
