Richard J. Parry, 70, of Stewartville died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, at his residence. At Richard’s request, no services are planned.

Richard John Parry was born on July 24, 1935, in Albert Lea to John and Dorothy Parry. During the Korean War, Richard served in the U.S. Air Force.

He married Shirley Anderson and they were later divorced. Richard married Erna Solita on Aug. 10, 1997. He was a teacher for many years.

Richard is survived by his wife, Erna Parry of Stewartville; two sons, James Parry of Stewartville and Christopher Parry of West Salem, Wis.; and one brother, Ronald Parry.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
