Daniel James Ditlevson, age 41, of Conger, died when the 2004 pickup he was driving reportedly struck a semi in the south bound lane of Interstate 35.

The accident occurred at milepost 43 just north of Owatonna at approximately 2:51 a.m. Saturday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The patrol’s report said Ditlevson died at the scene.

The report added that the 1999 Peterbuilt semi was driven by Chad Henry, age 29, of Decaturville, Tenn. He was not injured.

The state patrol stated the accident is under investigation.
