Keith Goslee, 58, Geneva

Funeral services for Keith John Goslee, 58, of Geneva, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at the First Lutheran Church in Ellendale. The Revs. Arne Halbakken and David Hernes will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Ellendale and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the London Cemetery.
Mr. Goslee died Friday, Oct. 14, at his home in Geneva after a 10-month battle with lung cancer.
Keith was born Oct. 4, 1947, in Austin, the son of John and Evelyn (Magee) Goslee. He was baptized at the Deer Creek Valley Lutheran Church and was a graduate of Lyle High School in
1965.
Following high school, Keith served with the U.S. Army from 1965-69.
On Jan. 31, 1970, he married Marilyn Rohne at the Deer Creek Valley Lutheran Church.
Keith was a life-long resident of southern Minnesota, living in Lyle until 1980 and then moving to Geneva in 1981. He was employed by Queens in Albert Lea and Hormel Foods in Austin for several years. He also worked for Geneva Pork Producers, Geneva Meats and most recently as a product specialist at Cabelas in Owatonna.
Keith was a member of the Lyle American Legion and also AA where he would have celebrated 20 years of sobriety this December.
Keith enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and spending time at his cabin in Northern Minnesota. He loved watching fast-pitch softball and many other sports, and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Keith is survived by his mother, Evelyn Goslee of Austin; his wife, Marilyn of Geneva; two children, Melanie and her husband, Scott Crabtree, of rural Ellendale and Kyle and his wife, Heather Goslee, of Montevideo; two grandchildren, Emily and Hanna Crabtree; brothers, Dwight (Linda) Goslee of Elkhorn, Neb., Larry (Paula) Goslee of rural Austin, and Randy Goslee of Marina Del Ray, Calif.; sisters, Janiene Goslee of rural Glenville, and Meridee (Dwight) Denisen of Rochester; brothers-in-law, Allen (Judy) Rohne of rural Glenville, and Mike (Alayna) Rohne of rural Glenville; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his yellow lab, Skeeter.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, John; mother and father-in-law, Martin and Betty Rohne, and nephew, Matthew Rohne.
