A pair of local baseball players earned all-state recognition from the Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association for their efforts on the diamond this past season.
Glenville-Emmons’ Alex Hansen lost just one game in 19 decisions over a two year stretch to earn his spot on the Class A All-State Team.
Not only did Hansen dominate opponents on the mound but he was also a threat at the plate batting .415 on the season
United South Central’s Adam Schrader was a tough out to say the least getting a hit more than half the time he walked to the plate on his way to an eye-popping .545 average.
He not only hit for average and power but also put together a solid season on the mound with an 8-3 record and a 2.08 ERA.
