Beatrice Busho, 83, of Ellendale

Funeral services for Beatrice (Bea) Anna Busho will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at the First Lutheran Church in Hope. The Rev. Josh Ehrler will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Lemond Cemetery.

Beatrice died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She was 83 years of age.

Bea was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Ellendale, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Camp) Sorenson. She was baptized, confirmed and married at the First Lutheran Church in Hope. Bea was a graduate of Ellendale High School where she was class president and member of the National Honor Society. She enjoyed going to the class reunions, and never missed one. Bea had been employed by Jostens in Owatonna before her marriage and then for many years by the Northwestern Bell Telephone in the office.

Bea was active in the Eagle’s Club for many years. She enjoyed music and spent many hours playing the organ. She played the harmonica for her grandchildren and sang in various groups entertaining seniors.

Bea had a special love for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed writing poetry for them.

Bea is survived by her children; Nancy and her husband Alfred Jensen of Albert Lea, Donna and her husband James Graham of Prior Lake, Minn., Dennis Busho of Burnsville, Minn., Chris and his wife Mary Busho of Prior Lake, Minn. Grandchildren; Chad (Michelle) Jensen, Amy (Jason) Ochkie, Jennifer (Andy) Nelson, James (Kyann) Graham, Joseph (Lisa) Graham, Margaret (Rob) Peterson, Briana and Crystal Busho. Great grandchildren; Sophia, Lucas, Lizabeth, Jack, Payton, and Abby. Also surviving is one sister; Erliss Helgeson of Adams, Wis., and two brothers; Bernard Sorenson of Owatonna, Marlow and his wife Helen Sorenson of Richfield, Minn.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Clarence, one son Dwayne Busho in infancy, and one great-grandson Jacob in infancy.
