Olga Bothof, 93, of Hollandale

Memorial services for Olga M. Bothof, age 93, of Hollandale, will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at 2 p.m. from the Hollandale Reformed Church. The Rev. William Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be at the Hollandale Cemetery. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Olga died on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at the Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.
Olga Margaret Bothof was born on Feb. 18, 1912, in Pekin, N.D., the daughter of Oliver and Marie (Quam) Enstad. She attended and graduated from Pekin High School and then Mayville Teacher’s College. Olga worked for a short time in Bethesda, Maryland at a school for the deaf. On March 30, 1940, Olga was united in marriage to Cornelius Bothof in Pekin, N.D. She enjoyed playing 500, bowling, traveling, gardening and sewing. Olga enjoyed nature and especially birds. She was a member of the Hollandale Reformed Church and active in the church circle.
Survivors include her children: Delores and husband Anthony Spiering, Mary and husband Terry Hansen, Diane and husband Kevin Carlin; grandchildren: Dawn and husband Mark Hetrick, Gary and wife Marjorie Spiering, Randy and wife Laura Forcella Spiering, Kristie and husband Brian Livingston, Kim and husband Dave Klingfus, Andria Hansen and Camille Carlin; great-grandchildren: Kay, Camryn, Michael, Rachel, Nicholas, Holly, Gavin, Gerrit, Julianna, Ian, Maggie and Codi; and sister, Inga Stormoe.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cornelius, great-grandson, Robert and great-granddaughter, Alyssa,
two brothers and three sisters.
