The first day of spring came and went on Monday, and it didn’t really matter. It’s still wintry outside.

So when will spring spring? Well, the air seems warmer and we’ve had a few nice days lately. Then &045; out of nowhere &045; it snows Thursday. Well, that’s Minnesota. Spring and winter seem to have this relationship where they take turns. Spring gets a few days. Winter gets a few days.

We heard spring gets Saturday. Oh wait, maybe not.

Before you know it, we’ll hear the thunder. We’ll see the lightning. We’ll be running between the raindrops on our way from the house to the car and from the car to work. Next thing you know, there will be this geoooooorrgous day, a day with green grass, blooming flowers, exercising people, rambling motorcycles, backyard barbecues, bouncing basketballs, smiling children and plenty o’ sunshine. The fish will jump right out of the lake just to wave at you.

Ahh, the perfect spring day. It makes your spine chill just dreaming about it.

We just wanted to take this moment to publicly schedule this geoooooorrgous day in southern Minnesota for a Saturday. It doesn’t matter which Saturday, just make it any Saturday. In fact &045; not to press our luck &045; we’d take the following Sunday, too.
